One Last Time

We have a list of places we want to visit "one last time" before we leave for Oxford at the end of the month. Among them was Drumlin Farm, a local educational farm and Mass Audubon site that we have frequented over the past nine years.

The kids enjoyed all their usual pursuits, climbing their favorite big rocks, seeing the animals, and playing at the Sensory Tree (which isn't actually a tree but a fake plastic thing that they nonetheless enjoying climbing.) And on this, our last visit, we had a first, too. Rebecca climbed all the way to the very top and made sure I documented it with a picture.

Despite having visited this place dozens of times over the years, we also saw new animals and found an entirely new forested play area we had somehow missed. The kids built mouse houses:

After a morning of play we headed home. We unanimously agreed we need to go back for another "one last time" because we had so much fun. Fortunately, we still have a few weeks left!
